01 / THE IDEA

Every location needs internet.
You need the whole picture.

A provider quote answers “What can you sell me?” A useful connection plan starts with “What does this business actually need?”

One place to make
a better decision.

ConnectSurf is being built to help businesses compare suitable internet and backup options, organize quotes and renewals, and coordinate changes through connectivity partners.

Today, our brief builder helps you prepare for those provider conversations. Quotes, partner coordination, and account management are planned services.

01

Start with what each site needs.

Point-of-sale systems, video calls, guest Wi-Fi, and file uploads place different demands on a connection. Put your requirements into words before shopping.

02

Compare more than a speed.

Installation, upload capacity, support, contract length, and backup options belong in the same decision as the monthly bill.

03

Make your next move deliberate.

Record contract timing, check the notice period, and plan any change around when the new service can actually be installed.

02 / BEFORE THE FIRST QUOTE

A connection should
fit the work.

Here’s the kind of thinking your brief brings together. Provider availability and terms must be verified for each address.

Reliability needs and a separate backup path.

Will payments still work if the main connection goes down?

03 / KNOW YOUR OPTIONS

The best connection
depends on the address.

Start with the work the connection needs to support. Then compare the services actually offered at that location.

01

Fiber

A primary connection to consider

Often worth evaluating for cloud-heavy offices, larger file uploads, and growing teams. Service type and performance commitments vary by offer.

ASK THE PROVIDER

Ask about upload speed, installation lead time, and whether the quoted service is shared or dedicated.

02

Cable

A practical option at many sites

Can be suitable for everyday business use where available. Compare upload capacity and the contract terms alongside the advertised download speed.

ASK THE PROVIDER

Ask about upload limits, support, promotional pricing, and the full monthly cost after promotions end.

03

Wireless

For primary service or a backup route

Fixed wireless or cellular may fit a location’s primary or backup needs. Indoor reception, capacity, data policies, and equipment all need checking.

ASK THE PROVIDER

Ask about on-site signal testing, data limits, failover setup, and how independent it is from your primary connection.

Two connections aren’t automatically a backup plan.

Check whether they share infrastructure, how failover works, what needs backup power, and which business tasks must keep running.

04 / BUILD YOUR CONNECTION BRIEF

Start with what
your business needs.

Turn a few details into a useful brief for comparing internet and backup options. No email address required.

  1. Your business
  2. Your starting point
  3. Your priorities

First, the basics.

A starting list is enough. Exact service addresses are needed later to verify availability.

One location per line. Add at least one city or ZIP code to start. Do not include account numbers or passwords.

About 2 minutes

Planning only. Provider availability, prices, and technical suitability require verification.

of a better connection.

What can I use today?

The free connection brief builder on this page is available now. It turns your answers into a planning brief and a tailored checklist you can download and take to providers. It does not check live availability, request quotes, or order service.

What is the advisor service?

The planned service would help businesses evaluate internet and backup options across locations, organize quotes and renewal dates, and coordinate changes with connectivity partners. This service is still in development. Provider partnerships, pricing, and operational workflows are not yet in place.

Do you sell internet or run a network?

No. ConnectSurf is being developed as a connectivity planning and advisory service. Internet service would be delivered by the provider you select, under that provider’s agreement. ConnectSurf has no carrier partnership agreements in place today.

Why focus on businesses with 2–20 locations?

Each address can have different providers, needs, and renewal dates. That is the coordination problem ConnectSurf is designed to address. You can also use the brief builder to plan one location or outline a larger estate.

What happens to the information I enter?

Your answers are processed in your browser tab. The builder does not send them to a server or store them in your account. There is no sign-up or contact information requirement. Download or copy the completed brief if you want to keep it; closing or refreshing the page clears your answers.

Can you guarantee savings or uptime?

No. Costs, availability, and performance depend on the location, provider, contract, and equipment. The brief helps you ask better questions and compare the full terms. It is not a price quote, availability result, or service guarantee.
